Early Help

Springside supports the Early Help strategy for Rochdale, promoting integrated care for families. The Early Help team consists of Melody Fierro (Headteacher) as the Designated safeguarding lead), closely supported by the Deputy Headteacher (Deputy safeguarding lead), Assistant Headteacher (Deputy safeguarding lead), bilingual Children's Welfare Officer (Deputy safeguarding lead), Pastoral Officer (Deputy safeguarding lead) and the Gateway Team. As a team, on a rolling programme 4 times per term they deliver 10 minute briefings to school staff to raise the awareness of a range of Early Help issues.

Each term members from the Early Help Team will attend safeguarding network meetings, thus supporting consistency and sustainability.
